Handcrafted in the heart of Montana, these bamboo fly rods are a tribute to tradition and performance. Designed for versatility on both freestone rivers and spring creeks, they offers a smooth, progressive action that delivers delicate presentations and precise control. Each rod is hollow built delivering a precise and powerful cast in a rod that is light in hand.
Built from hand-split, heat-tempered Tonkin cane and wrapped with silk thread, this rod features blued nickel silver ferrules, a hand-turned handle made of premium-flor cork with stabilized amboyna insert, and oxidized snake guides for a timeless aesthetic. Each rod is flame-finished and hand-varnished for durability and beauty.
Perfect for dry fly enthusiasts or those seeking a true connection to the water, these rods blend craftsmanship, balance, and Montana spirit into every cast. Includes a custom aluminum tube and hand-stitched rod sock. Signed and numbered. Limited production.
Rods are $3500 with a $500 refundable deposit taken to secure your spot in the build process. Current lead time is 8-12 months. Rod balance and shipping costs will be billed two weeks prior to shipping.
